Elite Cascade Falls Boxes are designed for pond-less waterfall applications, offering an alternative to traditional biological waterfalls. Each unit includes a Matala diffuser mat for even water flow, an integrated landscape lid for concealment, a detachable weir, and all required installation hardware. Multiple units can be placed side-by-side for wider waterfall designs.

How a Pond-Less Waterfall System Works

Water is circulated from a concealed basin using a submersible pump housed inside a Pump Canyon®. The pump pushes water through PVC flex hose to the Cascade Falls Box, where it spills evenly over the weir and flows back into the lined basin below. This closed-loop system continuously recirculates water without the need for an exposed pond.

Installation Overview

Step 1: Lay out the basin and Pump Canyon configuration, then excavate to depth.
Step 2: Install underliner and rubber liner, then place matrix boxes and Pump Canyon.
Step 3: Extend liner up the slope and position the Cascade Falls Box.
Step 4: Install pump and connect plumbing to the Cascade Box.
Step 5: Cover components with decorative stone, stack rocks, fill with water, and power on.
