Altum-Achelous AquaBox® Sediment Screen

Help keep debris out of your fountain basin with the Altum-Achelous AquaBox® Sediment Screen. This durable plastic mesh screen creates an additional barrier between the decorative stone above the basin and the water reservoir below.

Leaves, mulch, dirt, small stones, and other outdoor debris can gradually work their way through the basin grate and collect inside the reservoir. Adding a sediment screen helps reduce this buildup, keeping your water feature cleaner and making routine maintenance easier.

Compatible Fountain Basins

This 52-inch by 52-inch sediment screen can be used with all Achelous AquaBox® basins, the Altum AquaBox® Basin, and our 4' x 4' Fountain Basin. The plastic mesh material can be easily custom cut to fit any of the available basin sizes and configurations we carry.

Easy to Cut and Customize

The 52-inch by 52-inch plastic sediment screen can be easily trimmed with scissors or a utility knife. It can be custom cut to fit any of the Achelous basin options, the Altum Basin, or the 4' x 4' Fountain Basin.

Openings can also be cut as needed to accommodate fountain plumbing, access panels, support columns, and other basin components.

Position the sediment screen over the basin support surface before installing the decorative stone. Make sure the screen lies relatively flat and does not prevent access to the pump or other serviceable components.
