The SolarSeries Battery Backup is engineered to operate throughout the United States, including during cloudy weather and winter months. High-capacity batteries store energy collected during daylight hours—even in low-light conditions—and power the system after sunset.

The system features 24-volt DC SilentAir® compressor(s) paired with durable 12-volt AGM batteries. All components are protected inside a lightweight, powder-coated aluminum cabinet designed for long-term outdoor use.

Bottom-diffused aeration circulates large volumes of water, helping maintain consistent movement throughout the pond.

Installation

The SolarSeries can be installed at the pond’s edge or several hundred feet away using Airmax Direct Burial Airline (sold separately).

The 24-volt DC SilentAir compressor is housed in a durable thermoset fiberglass control panel that mounts directly to the solar panel assembly.

The included ProAir® weighted diffusers connect using Airmax EasySet Weighted Air Hose and fitting sets. Position the diffusers near the deepest areas of the pond and space them evenly for optimal circulation.

Note: Airmax Direct Burial Airline is sold separately and is intended for underground installation. Airmax EasySet Weighted Air Hose is designed for underwater use.

Winter Operation: If your pond is used for winter recreation, turn off and store the aeration system during periods of ice formation. Aeration can create areas of thin ice that may present a safety hazard.
