24" Crystal Sphere Fountain Kit
A bold, architectural water feature built around a clear 24-inch acrylic sphere, a broad powder-coated steel bowl and color-changing illumination. Water rises through the sphere, spills from the opening at the top and travels across the curved surface before returning to the hidden reservoir below.

A Statement Fountain from Daylight to Dark
This is the larger Crystal Sphere configuration, designed for landscapes where the fountain should be a defining visual feature rather than a small accent.

Moving water gives the clear sphere a constantly changing appearance as it reflects the sky, landscape and surrounding architecture.
Illuminated at Night
The included IllumiGlow color-changing LED system lights the water from below and turns the sphere into an evening focal point.

Plan the Installation Before Delivery
This is a substantial built-in landscape fountain, not a small freestanding accessory. Reviewing the site and installation manual before work begins will help prevent placement, leveling and water-capacity problems.
Choose the Site
Select a prominent viewing location with practical access to clean water and electricity. Confirm the location of underground utilities before digging.
Prepare the Basin
The manual calls for an excavation approximately 21 inches deep. Level and compact the bottom with sand or small gravel so the entire basin base is supported.
Level the Fountain
Set the basin approximately 1 inch below grade. Level the steel bowl and sphere base plate before filling. A second person is helpful when positioning the 130 lb. bowl.
Fill and Test
Allow approximately 25–30 minutes for the sphere and bowl to fill. Check the flow, lighting, water level and drainage before completing the surrounding landscape finish.
Water-Level Tip
The water level in the underground basin drops as the sphere fills. Once the fountain is operating, do not add water unless the pump sputters or draws air. Overfilling the running system can cause the basin to overflow when the pump is switched off. Allow approximately 10–15 minutes for the fountain to drain after shutdown.
Care & Seasonal Maintenance
Keep the Water Clear
Suspended debris can be visible through the clear sphere. Check the reservoir, pump pre-filter and water condition regularly.
Protect the Acrylic
Use plenty of water and an acrylic-safe cleaning pad. For deeper cleaning, use soapy water and a clean cloth, then rinse thoroughly. Do not use chlorine or chloride-based treatments.
Prepare for Freezing Weather
Unplug and drain the fountain, empty the sphere and follow the manual when removing the lights and support components. Leave water in the buried basin during winter, then clean and refill it in spring.
Important safety note: Light refraction can occur while the clear acrylic sphere is operating. Keep vegetation, mulch, leaves and other flammable debris clear of the sphere, bowl, basin and surrounding equipment.

Is this a complete fountain kit?
Yes. It includes the 24-inch acrylic sphere, support components, 48-inch steel bowl, Altum reservoir, 1,110 GPH pump, color-changing lighting, 240 pounds of your selected polished pebbles and the internal plumbing required for the fountain assembly.
Can I choose the polished pebble color?
Yes. Choose black or mixed polished pebbles through the product option selector. The kit includes 240 pounds total, equivalent to six 40-pound bags.
Do I need a pond or permanent plumbing connection?
No pond is required. Water continuously recirculates through the hidden reservoir. The basin can be filled manually with clean water; an automatic fill valve is optional and sold separately.
How much space should I plan for?
The visible steel bowl is 48 inches in diameter, while the underground basin measures 52.5 inches square. Allow additional working space for excavation, backfilling, utilities and the surrounding landscape finish.
How long does the fountain take to fill and drain?
Allow approximately 25–30 minutes for the pump to fill the sphere and bowl. After shutdown, the system takes approximately 10–15 minutes to drain.
Is the color-changing lighting included?
Yes. The kit includes the IllumiGlow Fountain Plume Color-Changing LED Lighting Kit, which illuminates the water and sphere from below.
How should I clean the acrylic sphere?
