Blue Lake Dye keeps pond and lake water clear and shades UV rays all year long.
How to Use
No mixing is required, the dye can be poured directly from the shoreline and it is safe for all aquatic life. For year-long beauty, pond dye can be applied early in the spring and added as needed.
Dosage Rates
Each one-gallon pond and lake formulated pond dye treats up to one surface acre with an average depth of 4' - 6' feet deep for several months.

Application Rates
Use 1- 2 Gallons per surface acres, 4-6 feet deep, every 4-8 weeks or as needed.
How to Apply
Wear rubber gloves when handling dye. No mixing is required. Pour Blue Lake Dye in several spots along the shoreline.
When to Apply
For year-long beauty, apply in early spring. Water temperature has no effect on pond dye and should be applied monthly or as needed to maintain a blue color all season long. Heavy rain and/or intense sunlight may require additional treatments of pond dye.
Water Use Restrictions
Blue Lake Dye may be applied to lakes and ponds used for irrigation and aquaculture. Water treated with Blue Lake Dye may be used for recreation, fishing and other activities immediately after treatment. Safe for recreational ponds, horses, livestock, birds, pets, fish, wildlife and the environment. Do not apply to water that will be used for human consumption.
