Helps Stabilize the Column
The 19-by-24-inch plate helps keep a compatible tall real-stone fountain level and standing on the supporting basin cover or grate.
This purpose-built support assembly helps compatible tall basalt fountain columns remain level and upright while allowing the water-feed hose to pass through the welded stand pipe. It is a support component for a custom fountain system—not a complete fountain kit.
The support plate combines a broad base with a welded vertical stand pipe, giving the column a defined support position while preserving a path for the fountain's water line.
The 19-by-24-inch plate helps keep a compatible tall real-stone fountain level and standing on the supporting basin cover or grate.
A 1-inch water-feed hose fits through the 12-inch-tall stand pipe, keeping the support and water path centered within the column.
When you order the plate with a compatible core-drilled basalt column, we drill the column to the required larger diameter before shipment.
This listing is for the support plate assembly only. A complete operating fountain requires a compatible column and a properly sized recirculating system.
Tall real-stone columns are heavy. The plate is only one part of the installation; the basin, cover or grate, underlying supports, pump, and plumbing must all be selected and laid out for the exact project.
Verify that the plate is appropriate for the exact basalt column. Order both together so we can complete the required drilling before shipment.
Reserve a clear 19-by-24-inch area on the structural cover or grate and keep pump access, basin supports, and neighboring fountain positions in mind.
Route the hose without kinks, slide the prepared column over the stand, set the assembly upright, and verify level and water flow before adding the finish stone.
This manual covers Blue Thumb tall triple real-stone fountain systems that use support stands. Use it for system-planning context; your custom layout and selected components may differ.
Before purchasing for an existing column—or planning a custom single-, double-, or triple-column fountain—contact our Sales/Tech Team. We can help you confirm the column preparation and the surrounding basin, grate, pump, and plumbing requirements.
No. This listing is for one support plate assembly only. The basalt column, basin or reservoir, structural cover or grate, pump, plumbing, lighting, and finishing materials are not included.
It is used with most of our taller real-stone basalt fountains, but compatibility should be confirmed for the exact column. The column must have the larger core-drilled opening required by the stand.
Possibly, but the existing column will need to be drilled to the required larger diameter. If the plate and column are not ordered together, the customer is responsible for arranging that drilling. Contact us before ordering so we can review the application.
Ordering them together lets us drill the compatible core-drilled basalt column to fit the stand before shipment, reducing jobsite modifications and compatibility problems.
The plate measures 19 inches wide by 24 inches long. Its welded stand pipe is 12 inches high with a 1-1/2-inch outside diameter.
A 1-inch water-feed hose fits through the stand pipe. Pump sizing, valves, hose length, and the rest of the plumbing depend on the height and number of columns in the fountain system.
No. The related tall triple fountain manual says the plate may be screwed to the basin cover for added security, but screws are not included.
Plan around the full 19-by-24-inch plate footprint. The final position also needs to avoid interfering with the pump access, basin supports, plumbing, and other fountain columns.
