Measure the water feature, calculate its gallons and base the dose on actual water volume—not surface area.
For heavy growth, manually remove as much algae as practical before treatment to reduce the amount of decaying organic matter.
Make sure the pond has vigorous aeration from a waterfall, fountain or aeration device before applying. Keep aeration running continuously.
Apply 1 fluid ounce per 360 gallons. Do not use more than the recommended amount for your water volume.
Pour the measured treatment evenly around the pond edges or into the area with the strongest circulation.
Watch fish and aeration as algae breaks down. Wait at least 3 days between treatments; for maintenance, repeat the labeled dose once per week.
