Airmax PondSeries 1 HP Fountain, 230V Aerates Ponds up to 1/2 Acre

The Airmax PondSeries 1 HP Fountain is built and engineered for superior performance and long-lasting durability. The patent-pending high-flow design showcases crisp spray patterns while helping aerate ponds up to 1/2 surface acre and 6 feet deep.

The maintenance-free, energy-efficient motor uses an innovative cooling shroud design that forces water across the motor for maximum cooling and longer motor life. Larger ponds may require additional diffused aeration or multiple fountains.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Verify Power Availability

Ensure electrical power is available near the pond. Blue Thumb recommends using a licensed electrician for all electrical installation work.

Step 2: Select a Spray Pattern

The Classic spray pattern comes pre-installed. Additional Crown & Trumpet and Trumpet spray patterns are included and can be changed using the supplied O-ring and nozzle nut.

Step 3: Assemble the Fountain

Lay the float flat with the logo facing upward. Insert the fountain pump assembly into the center opening and connect the power cord using the quick disconnect. Attach the strain relief and mooring cables before launching.

Step 4: Place the Fountain in Water

Lift the fountain by the float and place it into the pond. A minimum operating depth of 36 inches is required.

Step 5: Anchor the Fountain

Secure the fountain using two mooring ropes attached to opposite sides of the float. Anchor each rope firmly to prevent movement and twisting during operation.

Step 6: Install the Control Panel

Blue Thumb recommends having a licensed electrician install and mount the control panel.
