How It Works

Biological Waterfall Boxes

Filters harmful waste and toxins, improves water clarity, and provides surface area for beneficial bacteria. Can be easily camouflaged with landscaping (landscape lids are available only for Elite Series).

Black PVC Flex Hose

Carries water from the skimmer to the waterfall box; easier to install than rigid PVC.

Rocks and Gravel

Not included, but essential for proper installation. Adds surface area for bacteria, protects liner from UV damage, and creates a natural aesthetic.

Protective Underliner

Forms a cushioning layer beneath the liner. Faster to install than newspaper or sand and allows gases to escape.

Fish-Friendly Rubber Liner

45-mil EPDM liner that conforms to curves and slopes; ideal for building durable ponds.

High-Efficiency Pump

Sits in a protected pump chamber. Blue Thumb pumps are recommended for low power usage and continuous operation.

Mechanical Skimmer Box

Removes floating debris before it sinks. Protects the pump and hides unsightly plumbing.
