Two years ago, I purchased a Luna Fountain similar to the purple/green/copper fountain on the Blue Thumb site. It was so easy to install for my landscape guy and once the basin was dug, my fiance and I have been able to do the annual maintenance and winter storage/spring install. So excited to start our third year with this beauty! Everyone that visits loves it when we sit on the patio. If you have a small space and need the beautiful sound of lapping water, this is it! With regard to the cost. You may find other kits cheaper but the quality of ready to install set up of the Blue Thumb Fountain kits is well worth the added cost. This fountain has been almost maintenance free. I highly recommend the Muck Buster granules and then I use a hydrogen peroxide solution to keep the water clear and the algae controlled. It is a very simple maintenance plan. Blue Thumb's support is also excellent. They were quick to respond to my questions about storage, cold tolerance (as in what could the fountain stand when temps got close to freezing in my South East Zone 7)
